About Dr. Andrew Allen

I grew up on a farm in Southern Idaho with the wonderful opportunity to raise my own cattle, sheep, and horses. After graduating from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, I worked as a mixed and large animal vet in Oregon and Idaho for 4 years. I then decided to continue my education and pursue a residency in large animal internal medicine and a PhD at WSU. Upon completion I was hired on as faculty to train and teach veterinary students in large animal internal and production animal medicine. After 13 years on faculty I had an opportunity to practice in beautiful Central Oregon and I took it. When I am not working I am flyfishing, chasing bird dogs, watching or coaching my kids soccer and loving on my amazing family.
